Digitalisation without
unnecessary complexity
Ghanima Systemutvikling builds digital solutions for small and medium businesses. Not large systems for their own sake, but things that solve a concrete problem.
You speak to the person who actually builds the solution, from the first conversation to the finished thing. No long chain between you and whoever writes the code.
I work as a developer and consultant, with over ten years of development experience, the last few years on backend and integration projects for larger organisations. Getting systems that were never built for each other to co-operate is what I have spent most of my time on, and that is usually where the biggest time sinks are hiding.
We say so if we are not the right supplier for the job. That is usually more useful to you than a yes.
Mostly works with
- C# and .NET
- Azure
- REST APIs and integrations
- Infrastructure as code
- TypeScript and React
- SQL and data modelling
How we work
- 01
Mapping
We go through your working day and look for the tasks that repeat, that need manual typing, or that stop when one person is away. The gain is rarely where people expect it beforehand.
- 02
Proposal and estimate
You get a concrete description of what we would build, an estimate of what it costs and how long it takes. If the scope changes along the way, we say so before we act on it, not afterwards.
- 03
Build and handover
We build in pieces and show progress along the way, rather than disappearing until everything is done. You get the source code and the documentation, and you own the solution when we are finished.
- Estimate up front
- you know the cost before we start
- You own the code
- no lock-in through licences or contracts
- Delivered in pieces
- so you see progress along the way
- Direct contact
- you speak to whoever builds it
What people usually ask
If the answer is not here, just ask. We answer honestly, including when the answer is that we are not the right supplier.
01
What does it cost to automate a work process?
The price follows the scope, and the scope varies a lot. What decides it is how many steps the process has, which systems need to talk to each other, and how much already exists. A single contained routine is a very different thing from a complete internal system. That is why we always start with a review that commits you to nothing: we look at what takes time where you are, point at what is worth automating first, and give you a concrete estimate. The review costs nothing, and you are free to say no.
02
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope, and you get an estimate before we start. Contained work usually goes quickly, while larger systems take longer. Whatever the size, we deliver in pieces, so you see progress along the way instead of waiting for everything at the end.
03
Can you connect the systems we already use?
Usually yes. Most systems have some way of letting data in and out, and when they do we can connect them. That covers the common cloud services, accounting and customer systems, public registries and older solutions you have had for years. If we are unsure, we check the system in question before promising anything.
04
We are not sure what should be automated. Can you help with that?
That is often how it starts. We go through your working day and look for the tasks that repeat, that need manual typing, or that stop when one person is away. That is usually where the gain is, and it is rarely where people expect it beforehand.
05
What happens to the solution after it is delivered?
You own it. We hand over the source code and documentation, and you are free to run it yourself or have us look after it. We do not lock anyone in through licences or contracts you cannot leave.
06
Where are you based, and who do you work with?
We are a Norwegian company and most of our clients are here, but the work is done digitally, with video meetings and ongoing contact along the way. We are happy to take on work from the rest of the Nordics as well. We work in Norwegian and English.
Shall we have a chat?
Tell us briefly what takes time where you are, and we will say honestly whether it is something we can solve.
