Automating invoicing and finance processes
Finance work is full of tasks that follow fixed rules and repeat every month. That makes it one of the best places to start with automation.
What this is about
Hours are logged in one place, orders live in another, and the invoice is made in a third. Every transfer is a chance for a typo or a missed line, and every month the same thing happens again.
We do not build a new accounting system. We connect the one you have to the sources around it, so invoice data, receipts and payments flow in without manual work, and your accountant gets the numbers ready instead of a pile to sort out.
What can be automated
Examples of tasks that can run on their own. Which ones pay off most is something we look at together.
- 01
Invoices from hours and orders
Hours, projects and orders are fetched automatically and become invoices, without anyone copying them across.
- 02
Incoming invoices and receipts
Invoices and receipts are read, coded as a suggestion and sent to the right person for approval.
- 03
Reminders
Unpaid invoices are followed up by fixed rules, and you can see where things stand without looking.
- 04
Reconciliation
Payments are matched against invoices, and only what does not add up lands on somebody's desk.
Questions about invoicing and finance
01
Will it work with our accounting system?
Usually. The common accounting systems in Norway have APIs that let data flow in and out. We check the system in question before giving an estimate.
02
Can we automate invoicing without changing system?
Yes, and that is the most common case. The automation is built around the systems you already use, so your accountant and staff work as before, just with fewer manual steps.
03
What about control and audit?
Everything that happens automatically is logged, and you decide where a person has to approve. Many choose to let the system prepare everything and keep the approval itself manual.
Shall we look at what takes time where you are?
Tell us briefly how you work today, and we will say honestly whether it is something we can solve. Including when the answer is no.
