Automating work processes

Automated lead generation and prospecting

Prospecting is a numbers game, and the numbers take time. We build solutions that find the right companies, check they are worth contacting and get the groundwork ready, so your sales people can spend their time on conversations.

What this is about

Most of the time in B2B sales goes before the first email is sent: finding companies that fit, checking they are sound, tracking down a contact and writing something that does not read like a mass mailing. That work follows fixed rules, which is why it can be automated.

In Norway much of the groundwork is public. The Brønnøysund Register Centre holds industry codes, municipality, company type and filed accounts for Norwegian limited companies, which is enough to build a list that is relevant from the first row.

We let the system do the research and suggest the text, while a person reads it over and sends it. That gives volume without losing quality.

What can be automated

Examples of tasks that can run on their own. Which ones pay off most is something we look at together.

  • 01

    Target list pulled from registries

Companies are filtered on industry, location and company type, and the list fills up as new ones appear.

  • 02

    Qualified on filed accounts

Revenue, profit and growth weed out the ones that do not fit, before anyone has spent time on them.

  • 03

    Contact details in one place

Website, phone and the right contact person, gathered and ready to use.

  • 04

    A draft personal email

Each email is tailored to the industry and the company, and is ready to review instead of written from a blank page.

Questions about lead generation

  • 01

    What is automated lead generation?

It means the work of finding and preparing new customers is done by a system rather than by hand. The system pulls companies that fit, qualifies them and gathers what the salesperson needs, so all that is left is getting in touch.

  • 02

Does the system send the emails itself?

It can, but we usually recommend a person reads them first. A poor email to the wrong person costs more than it saves, and the final check takes seconds once the groundwork is done.

  • 03

Where does the data come from?

Mainly from public registries such as the Brønnøysund Register Centre, supplemented by the companies' own websites. Which sources fit depends on who you sell to.

  • 04

Can the leads go straight into our CRM?

Yes, they can land in the customer system or spreadsheet you already use. What is possible depends on the system's API, and we check that before giving an estimate.

Shall we look at what takes time where you are?
